Meal Ideas with Sayde & Georges Hummus
I don’t know about you, but I love using dips in a way that breaks up the monotony of your standard meals. Middle Eastern dips in particular are really great for this very task. When it comes to hummus, not only is it delicious, but is a great source of protein and fiber, and is surprisingly adaptable!
Here are a few ways we suggest using our Hummus other than with pita bread chips or veggies:
Loaded French Fries with Hummus and Hashwheh.
As an addition to your favorite salad- Hummus is an awesome addition to salad if you’re looking for a protein boost. You can also add your favorite grains to make it a more robust meal!
Loaded Hummus Baked Potato- Hummus and potatoes go hand and hand in my opinion. I’ve been enjoying hummus this way since I was little and it never gets old. It’s also a meal in and of itself and I find myself feeling full for a good while after. I love topping with Meta Microgreens, feta cheese, tomatoes, red onion, and any other vegetable I have on hand!
Hummus and Hashweh Fries- Another potato-related way to use our hummus is loaded fries. Hashweh is a Middle Eastern stuffing made with sauteed beef/lamb, onions, pine nuts, and seasoned with seven spice and salt. If you are looking for a vegan alternative mushrooms are a great substitute for the meat in hashweh! This is a protein-loaded meal and great to share with friends too!
In addition to your favorite grilled meats and vegetables in a sandwich- Grilling season is nearly here and if you’re making kabobs or grilling any meat hummus is a great addition. Grab a flatbread, add your meat or protein option, favorite veggies, hummus, & a lemon garlic zaatar sumac dressing, and create a terrific wrap!
