Recipe: Za’atar or Sumac Wings

Hi Everyone!

Wondering about ways you can use the seasonings we offer outside of garnish for our delicious dips? Here is one wonderful way to use them!

Za’atar or Sumac Wings

Ingredients:

1-2 lb chicken wings

Wing sauce

2 lemons, juiced

3-6 garlic cloves mashed (to your taste!)

3-4 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons Za'atar or Sumac

1.5 teaspoons kosher salt

Directions: Preheat oven to 425°F. Line the cooking sheet with parchment & add wings

Add a loaf pan with ice cubes to the bottom rack of the oven then add wings to the top rack to steam wings for 15 minutes

Take wings out, pat dry with a paper towel, and reline the cooking sheet with parchment paper and allow wings to cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

While waiting for the wings to cool, combine lemon juice, garlic, & olive oil in a bowl and set aside.

Bake the wings at 425°F for 25-35 minutes until cooked fully and the skin is crispy.

Immediately add wings to sauce and toss until coated then add Za'atar or Sumac and salt continuing to toss until all wings are coated with the spice of your choice.
